18+ One Piece fanzine featuring two of the Worst Generation: Captain Eustass Kid and Trafalgar D. Water Law !
GENERAL GUIDELINES
All applicants must be 18 or older at the time of applications.
Applicants should be familiar with One Piece, especially with the characters of Eustass Kid and Trafalgar Law.
Applicants must have or be willing to create a Discord account. All zine communication will be done there.
If accepted, it is preferred that contributors have a Paypal account. This is how compensation will be handled if we meet our sales goals.
No previous zine experience or large following is required to apply.
ARTISTS
Applicants must submit 3 artworks of what style they would want to use for the zine. One of them should be fully colored with a background.
Applicants may submit a portfolio, but this is optional. This could be a Google Drive Folder, Carrd, Twitter, Instagram, or other account, as long as we can EASILY see and access your work!
If you’re applying for the NSFW portion - please include at least one example.
At least one of your samples should include Kid or Law, even better if they’re together. :)
If accepted, each artist will be given a minimum of 1 and maximum of 5 pages to do with whatever they’d like - comics, full color pages, smaller spots, etc, featuring KidLaw.
MERCH ARTISTS
Applicants must submit 3 merch samples of what style they would want use for the zine. Remember all will be digital.
Applicants may submit a portfolio, but this is optional. This could be a Google Drive Folder, Carrd, Twitter, Instagram, or other account, as long as we can EASILY see and access your work!
At least one of your samples should include Kid or Law, even better if they’re together. :)
If accepted, each merch artist will have the opportunity to work on multiple merch designs (icons, emotes, wallpapers, etc) featuring KidLaw.
WRITERS
Applicants must submit 3 written works of what style they would want to use for the zine: each of which may not exceed 2.5k. You can include excerpts, but please have at least one be a complete fic.
Applicants may submit a portfolio, but this is optional. This could be a Google Drive Folder, Carrd, Twitter, Instagram, or other account, as long as we can EASILY see and access your work!
If you’re applying for the NSFW portion - please include at least one example.
At least one of your samples should include Kid or Law, even better if they’re together. :)
If accepted, each writer will have to write a fanfic featuring KidLaw, ranging from 3K words (minimum) to 8K words (maximum).

What is this Zine about?
This Zine will be a fan made book of stories, art work and a short comic featuring the romantic relationship between the Pirate Captains Eustass Kid and Trafalgar D. Water Law from the series One Piece.Will the Zine be physical or digital?
Much of the One Piece community is international, and in order to avoid rising shipping and production costs, we believe a digital zine would be more cost inclusive at this current time.Will there be merchandise still?
Yes! We are looking into phone backgrounds, easily printable pages, and emotes.Is the zine SFW or NSFW?
The main zine will be SFW, however there will be a NSFW add-on.Can I participate in this Zine if I’m not 18 years old?
No, due to the presence of a NSFW portion, we will not be allowing any contributors under the age of 18.Can I buy the Zine if I’m not 18 years old?
Yes, but you must be at least 18 years old to purchase the NSFW PDF.How many contributors will be accepted into the Zine?
We’re looking to accept about 8 writers, 16 artists and 2 merchandise artists for this project.What will the final product consist of?
The main Zine PDF, an NSFW PDF add-on (18+), and a bundle of digital merch.What is off-limits for the subject matter of my contributions?
The mods ask that you avoid problematic kinks for the purposes of this zine.
We will not allow:
❌ Non-Con, incest, minor/adult relationships, and beastiality.
Due to the nature of this particular ship and canon content however: ✅ We will be allowing canon-type violence in the SFW section, and more gore/violence in the NSFW section.
All material will be tagged for reader comfort.
If you have a question about whether something is problematic, please ask one of the mods.
While we are not accepting problematic content on our zine, there will be no judgement about an applicants previous work! We will accept all content as application samples, but please add the proper tag.Can we include other characters/ships?
Yes! You are welcome to include any characters or ships in the vast One Piece canon, just please ensure that Kid and Law are the center of your piece. We have a preference for the relationship between Kid and Law to be mutually romantic, but we are open to discussing the various facets of that.Will AU’s be accepted?
Absolutely! We’d love to have a mix of canon and AU for the zine, but we are happy to talk through that when pitches are due.Do I need Zine experience or have a strong social media presence to apply?
Nope! Follower count is not a consideration in the applications. All account sizes are judged equally! We will require all contributors to have a Discord account to help with organization.Will I receive feedback as to why I was not accepted?
Unfortunately, the mod team will not be able to provide feedback.Do the mods have Zine experience?
